Pay Grade/Pay Range: Minimum: $48,600 - Midpoint: $60,800 (Salaried E7)

Department/Organization: 510001 - Campus Development

Normal Work Schedule: Monday - Friday 8:00am to 5:00pm

Job Summary: The ADA Building Assessor performs ADA assessments utilizing techniques including visual examination, non-destructive testing, and instrumentation and load testing under general supervision. Identifies, diagnoses, and develops barrier removal solutions for the built environment on the University campus including all major components and systems of buildings and other infrastructure. Produces deliverables ranging from reports of findings and recommendations to development of restoration design documents and construction oversight/administration. Maintains up to date understanding of construction materials and property classes.

Required Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor's degree or higher in architecture, building science, or related building field and some experience in building project management or facility assessment.

Skills and Knowledge: Hard worker, reliable and task oriented. Capable of analyzing and learning various measuring tools and instruments.

Preferred Qualifications: Architecture or construction related knowledge.
