Position Title: Machine Operator-Plasma Cutter

Wage: $18-$22/hour

Shift: 1st

Hours: 5am-3:30pm Monday-Thursday, Overtime on Fridays

Machine Operator-Plasma Cutter Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

- Set up and operate a variety of machines, such as Plasma table, Plasma Beam line, Angle line, Brake Press, and general equipment, to produce parts or products according to specifications

- Read and interpret blueprints and technical documents to ensure accurate production

- Monitor machine operations to detect malfunctions or errors and make necessary adjustments to ensure quality and consistency

- Perform routine maintenance on machines, including cleaning, lubrication, and replacement of parts as needed

- Troubleshoot and resolve mechanical or production issues to minimize downtime

- Measure and inspect finished products using precision tools e.g., calipers, micrometers to ensure they meet quality standards

- Record production data, such as quantities, material consumption, and machine performance

- Adhere to all company safety protocols, including the use of personal protective equipment PPE and proper machine operation procedures

- Collaborate with team members and supervisors to meet production goals and deadlines

- Maintain a clean and organized workspace

Machine Operator-Plasma Cutter Requirements:

- 3-5 years of experience as a machine operator in a manufacturing or industrial setting

- High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification or relevant vocational training preferred

- Proficiency in operating and troubleshooting various machines, including CNC or similar equipment

- Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals

- Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail

- Basic knowledge of measuring and inspection tools calipers, micrometers, gauges

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team

- Familiarity with safety protocols and machine operation procedures

- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift move objects weighing up to 50lbs

- Comfort with repetitive tasks and working in a noisy environment
