The BNSF Railway Technology Services department drives innovation and efficiency by developing and maintaining advanced technological solutions across the network. This team ensures a robust IT infrastructure, supports critical applications, and enhances cybersecurity measures. Their expertise is essential in optimizing operations and enabling BNSF to deliver reliable, cutting-edge transportation services.

This is a full-timelocated in Fort Worth, TX. For certain positions, including this one, employees can work one day per week remotely. Our leaders also foster a culture where work life balance, which requires flexibility for when life happens, is important and respected.

Travel is 10%-20%

Key responsibilities may include:

Coordinates the development, testing, and delivery of Machine Vision models for all TS projects

Concentrating on Intermodal projects related to cost saving measures in the "Future of Intermodal" portfolio and assist with larger initiatives

Responsible for managing contractors annotating images for model training to help ensure the accuracy of the models per business requirements

Communicate and serves as a project liaison between TS, vendors, and Future of Intermodal teams throughout project lifecycle

Provide support (both onsite and remote) for new model/ technology rollouts

Daily work is conducted primarily in a safe indoor office environment.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Able to work in the US without company sponsorship now AND in the future.
  • Bachelor's DegreeAND/OR equivalent formal training or work experience
  • Ability to communicate clearly with non-technical audiences
  • Ability to track and work to multiple simultaneous deliverables across various timelines and customers

Preferred Qualifications

  • At least 2 years professional work experience in a Technology/Telecomm environment. Expereince in Service Management environment preferred
  • Experience with machine learning models.
  • Understanding of computer vision models
  • Knowledge of software development
  • Experience with Python, GitHub, C++ programming languages
  • Experience working in Azure
