Essential duties and responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

1. Be an active participant in the multidisciplinary Cystic Fibrosis Clinic.
2. Ensure that days, evenings, and weekends are adequately covered for the (Rutgers Health Group ( RHG) Head and Neck Surgery on-call service at RWJBarnabas Health RWJUH.
3. Foster a responsive and quality RHG/ RWJUH Rhinology and Anterior Skull Base Surgery outpatient and inpatient consult services for RWJBarnabas Health.
4. Continue build a robust outpatient otolaryngic allergy program.
5. Continue building robust outpatient satellite practice sites.
6. Continue building a robust anterior skull base surgery program in partnership with the Department of Neurosurgery.
7. Medical student, resident and fellow management and direct supervision to establish goals, metrics for success, and accountability in areas of research, education, patient care, service and scholarship.
8. Work effectively with the Chair and the Chair's administrative staff to on-board and recruit quality faculty and staff providing support for the department and all divisions.
9. Work collaboratively with the Department Chair and the Chair's Office administrative staff to ensure goals for this faculty member's productivity in the division are congruent with those of the Chair's directives, such as increasing patient access to care, reducing missing charges and unsigned charts and reducing bumping in the ambulatory practice.
10. Work effectively with the Chair and the Chair's administrative staff supporting the Rhinology and Anterior Skull BaseSurgery service to enhance increased faculty productivity, quality care, faculty retention, and recruitment of qualified faculty that will enhance the department's and the division's reputation of our principal affiliate hospital RWJBarnabas Bristol-Meyers Squibb Children's Hospital/ RWJUH and the Cancer Institute of New Jersey.
11. Help develop the Head and Neck Surgery residency program.
12. Enhance the division's national reputation in research and scholarship, as measured by its portfolio of high impact publications and research funding.
13. All other duties as assigned by the Chair of Head and Neck Surgery & Communication Sciences.
14. Understands and adheres to Rutgers' compliance standards as they appear in Rutgers Health's (RH's) Corporate Compliance Policy, Code of Conduct and Conflict of Interest Policy.
15. In addition to clinical service on the main RWJUH campus, it is essential to help develop satellite practice sites as prioritized by the Chair of Head and Neck Surgery & Communication Sciences.
16. Performs other related duties as assigned.
