Job Summary:
The Assistant Director of the Strategic Human Resource Management Center (SHR) plays a critical role in managing the day-to-day operations of the Center's programs, services, and initiatives with a goal of supporting SHR MBA and HR BBA students. This position is responsible for ensuring the successful execution of human resources-related educational events, alumni engagement activities, and applied learning experiences aimed at fostering student success in strategic human resource management careers. The Assistant Director works closely with university departments, external agencies, students, and alumni to respond to inquiries and create a positive learning environment for students. Responsibilities: Oversees the daily management of programs, services, activities, facilities, policies and/or processes in order to support student success in various areas of student affairs. Works under broad, administrative direction with significant responsibility for assigned area(s) of responsibility. Responds to inquiries from University departments, educational institutions, the community, and/or external agencies. Strives to create a welcoming, equitable, and inclusive work environment.
