Summary
Conducts independent audits, assessments, and advisory engagements to assist the organization in accomplishing its objectives by incorporating a systemic and disciplined approach to evaluate and improve the eectiveness of NYPA's governance, risk management, and internal controls. This includes audit processes designed to provide reasonable assurance regarding the eectiveness and eciency of operations, reliability of nancial reporting, and compliance with applicable laws and regulations. These engagements include audits of business operations, nancial and compliance processes and activities, technology systems, infrastructure and cyber security and strategic and transformational initiatives. Supports audit reporting for external auditors, regulatory authorities, and joint venture partners. Conducts internal audits of business operations, nancial and compliance processes and activities, and strategic initiatives. Prepares and presents audit observations and recommendations to organization and/or business unit management. Evaluates nancial controls and ensures compliance with the organization's nance and accounting standards. Monitors remediation of controls issues identied from audits until closure, reports on risk mitigation. Responsibilities

Physical Requirements
Up to 20% travel primarily within New York State. The New York Power Authority is committed to providing fair, competitive, and market-informed compensation. The target salary range for this position is: $$95,440 - $125,000. The salary offered will be determined based on the successful candidates' relevant experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities.
