Research Scientist I Category: Life Science Employment Type: Contract Reference: BH-380007 Yoh Scientific is actively recruiting for a Research Scientist to work a contract assignment located in Duluth, GA. Title: Research Scientist (Level I) Location: on-site, Duluth, GA Duration: at least 6 months, possible extension however not a guarantee Pay Rate: $28 - $ 36.23/hour, based on experience Work Schedule: fulltime (40 hrs/week), M-F Primary Responsibilities: Lead the formulation, development, and optimization of new programs, designs, and prototypes. Participate in research formulating and writing with other staff. Assess new technologies and future applications of technologies. Propose, plan, and manage research projects, report preparation, and presentation of findings. Apply for grants to continue their research May be required to mentor, train and/or coach junior research scientists Stay up to date on developments within their field through methods such as reading academic journals, attending training programs and attending conferences within their field. Requirements: Minimum of a Bachelors degree in Chemistry, Material Science, Chemical Engineering, or Process Engineering required. . Laboratory formulation experience (MS with 0-2 yrs; BS with 0-4 yrs) required. Specifically, formulation and process experience with hydrogel and contact lens care is desired.
