Duties/Responsibilities


Duties/Responsibilities
Under the direction of the 4-H County Extension Agent, deliver 4-H positive youth development programming directly to youth. This includes:
* facilitating/teaching 4-H in-school club meetings;
* preparing students for 4-H Project Achievement;
* attending 4-H Summer Camp;
* designing and implementing community service projects; and
* assisting with other 4-H base programming.
Members will assist the 4-H Agent with day-to-day activities involved with providing direct services to youth, such as planning and development of 4-H programming. Some programming may be delivered in a virtual format. Members will provide transportation to youth.

Duties/Responsibilities
Support and provide leadership to the county 4-H Volunteer program: recruit, screen, train, and engage volunteers. The member may assist with coordinating the county volunteer registration database. Halt-time (part-time) members should recruit at least 5 new volunteers during their service.

Duties/Responsibilities
Track and document data related to the AmeriCorps performance measures and complete monthly reports, supported by the AmeriCorps State Program Coordinator. This includes administering surveys to youth as well as data entry.

Duties/Responsibilities
Attend local, district, and state program activities and events alongside 4-H County Extension Coordinator. Attend district and state-wide trainings, including the AmeriCorps New Service Year Orientation (October 8-9, 2024 at Rock Eagle 4-H Center) as well as additional face-to-face trainings and at least monthly webinars.
