About the Role:

The Transportation Support Specialist acts as a point of contact for 90+ external transportation providers, 3PLs and the SME for internal cross functional teams regarding freight payment processing and status. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, managing IDOC errors, monitoring all automated payment flows, identifying and reconciling issues, and processing invoice exceptions. Provides payment status to carriers, various reports to Finance and the Director of Transportation Operations which helps support accurate accruals, adherence to the budget and identifying cost-saving opportunities. Builds strong, long-lasting relationships with carrier partners so that Ferrero remains a "shipper of choice," which has a directly impact on service to our customers.

Main Responsibilities:

* Serve as a point of contact for all internal and external freight payment inquiries by providing status updates and support in issues resolution.

* Utilize various SAP transactions and 3PL reports to monitor that the automated freight payment process is working as expected to prevent payment delays.

* Lead investigations into freight payment disruptions to root cause and reconcile.

* Monitor systematic data flow between SAP and 3PL transportation planning systems.

* Deep dive root-cause analyses of freight spend to provide recommendations back to the business to drive efficiencies and competitive advantage.

* Work with Carriers and 3PL partners to resolve payment discrepancies.

* Coordinate month-end activities in collaboration with Finance teams to ensure accurate accruals and freight payment processing.

* Provide reporting to the Director of Transportation Operations to support budget forecasts and adherence.

* Act as the automated payment flows SME to support various projects and identify opportunities for improved processes.

Who we are looking for:

* Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, Logistics, Finance or a related discipline.

* 3~5 years of experience in Logistics and/or Supply Chain Finance (preferably in Consumer Products).

* Must have advanced experience in using Microsoft Excel and Power BI a plus.

* Demonstrated knowledge of SAP, such as PO creation/management, invoice settlement processes, shipments and IDOCs.

* Financial reporting

* Budget forecasting and monitoring.

* Experience in working with a TMS preferred but not required.

* Knowledge of domestic transportation concepts and carrier invoicing preferred.

* Strong communicator

* Ability to lead and influence others.

* Strong, independent analytical and problem-solving skills (attention to detail a must)

* Must demonstrate strong interpersonal skills and a willingness to learn on the fly.

* Results-oriented, innovative thinker with a focus on continuous process improvement

* Process-driven

* Must be able to work in a team environment and manage conflicting priorities while meeting deadlines

* Must be a self-starter
