MUST:

The Medical Call Center Rep should have the following experience:

2+years of medical office experience with strong customer service support skills

Experience working for an eye center or ophthalmic practice a plus


Strong experience scheduling appointments

Experience verifying insurance

Registering patients

Strong documentation skills

Ability to troubleshoot phone calls and escalate as needed

Documenting and updating patient information in EMR

DUTIES:

The duties of the Medical Call Center Rep include but are not limited to the following:


Answer phone calls

Schedule appointments

Provide customer service support

Verify insurance

Register patients

Document patient interactions in company database system

Troubleshoot phone calls

Document and update patient information in EMR
