Construction Department Internship

The Construction Intern works as an apprentice under the direction of the Project Manager and is responsible for functions needed in the Construction Team. The internship will play a key role in the continued growth and success of the Company. Other key responsibilities include:

* Initiates and manages the purchase order process with Oracle.
* Works with the purchasing department to complete and manages change orders.
* Manages development incoming inbox including but not limited to invoices and payment inquiries.
* Enters invoices into Projectmates, ensures approval, and works with the accounting team for payment.
* Reviews approval reports and identifies and corrects approval issues.
* Assists with maintaining project information.
* Links contract line items to appropriate destination in Projectmates.
* Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Entry Level: Requires 0-1 years' experience and HS Diploma or equivalent.

Physical requirements
Sitting, standing, bending, reaching, stretching, stooping, walking, and moving intermittently during working hours. Must be able to lift at least 50lbs. Must be able to maintain verbal and written communication with co-workers, supervisors, residents, family members, visitors, vendors and all business associates outside of the health campus.
