Position Summary
This position will serve as an Adjunct Instructor within the Division of Healthcare Engineering ( DHE), Department of Radiation Oncology - School of Medicine ( SOM), at the University of North Carolina - Chapel Hill. In this position, the candidate will provide guidance and mentorship to teams and assist them in implementation of effective strategies to enhance processes, performance, and outcomes impacting well-being of healthcare providers. Simultaneously, the candidate will conduct research to analyze the impact of improvement initiatives and identify best practices.
Minimum Education and Experience Requirements
Master's degree in relevant field such as public health, healthcare management, industrial or biomedical engineering, organizational psychology, or clinical field (e.g. Occupational Therapy, Physical Therapy, Nursing, Pharmacy, Public Health, or related clinical fields.)
Strong background in quality improvement frameworks and methodologies.
Experience in coaching, mentoring, or team facilitation.
Solid analytical and research skills, with the ability to interpret data and apply findings.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Preferred Qualifications, Competencies, and Experience
It is preferred that the successful candidate maintain a highly productive and impactful training development and implementation program.
