About the role:

  • Design functional and easy-to-use software interfaces that will enable customers to become more productive and enhance satisfaction of applications.

What you will be doing:

We are seeking motivated, forward-thinking designer, passionate about what they do, who can do amazing work. In return we will help all our team members to grow and develop their own skillsets working on challenging projects.

Joining the Capital Markets team to work at a high level helping accelerate the delivery of cutting-edge Enterprise scale products.

You will have the opportunity to:

  • Manage and maintain design strategy and explore solution from concept to completion

  • Translate complex design problem, user pain points and research finding into practical and impactful design solution especially in financial domain

  • Quickly convert concepts and ideas to working POCs using design thinking process

  • Proactively engage with multiple project stakeholders and work closely with product and business teams in developing solutions

  • Quickly visualize and prototype ideas to communicate concepts, conveying design ideas via sketches, wireframes, hi-fidelity mockups and interactive prototypes to the customer

  • Rapidly test and create iterative designs that meet project objectives and fits within the FIS Brand guidelines

  • Wearing a customer hat during developing solutions

  • Be responsible for the delivery of usable and high-quality designs

  • Participate in software design meetings and analyze user needs to determine technical requirements

  • Design Quality reviews

  • Contribute to the CoE charter including collaboration, workshops and publishing

About the team:

  • As part of FIS Global Capital markets InvestOne teams you will be helping our businesses to brings product to market more efficiently with UX, Data and Delivery acceleration through guidance, special interest groups and shared source.

  • As FinTech software evolves and customer expectations grow based on client's experience of modern consumer software an intuitive and modern user interface (UI) is a must for any digital product such as a mobile app, website, SaaS, B2B or enterprise line of business software.

  • This is a Central Team to enable product teams to go to market faster at a lower cost, producing user centered high quality software more effectively by providing the guidance and support to allow them to implementing best practices.

  • Where products teams face larger migration, performance and modernization challenges or needs to build out new greenfield product we also help them.

  • Where product teams already have the experience and resources to achieve their goals but are looking to accelerate product delivery and get to market faster, we also help to lower time-to-market of UI development through re-use of common components and shared services.

What you will need:

We need organized, highly technically skilled, motivated self-starters, with deep experience of the modern stack anda track record of delivery.

Core skills are:

  • 8+ years of experience in UI & UX Design with a proven track record of success

  • Ability to clearly articulate a problem space and design a solution that meet the user needs and business goals

  • Ability to quickly incorporate feedback and efficiently produce high quality professional designs

  • Ability to think holistically about the UI and scale in the future

  • Self-starter and ability to work without much supervision

  • Ability to accurately set, manage and meet deadlines

  • Understanding of the following:

    • Modern UI patterns and trends

    • Design principals with using internal design system

    • UX Principals/Design Thinking Process

    • Knowledge of browser-based application behavior and cross browser compatible

    • Expert in using design software such as Figma, Adobe XD or similar

Added bonus if you have:

  • Previous experience working with products organizations.

  • Experience working with remote teams

  • Good eye for detail

  • Excellent communication skills

  • Ability to communicate effectively with customer and all levels of management in an organized & professional manner

FIS is committed to providing its employees with an exciting career opportunity and competitive compensation. The pay range for this full-time position is $110,330.00 - $185,350.00 and reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for this position based on the posted role, level, and location. Within the range, actual individual starting pay is determined additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Any changes in work location will also impact actual individual starting pay. Please consult with your recruiter about the specific salary range for your preferred location during the hiring process.
