Job Summary

Collects and analyzes financial and utilization information to support the digital services and operations at Priority Health.

Essential Functions
  • Ability to query large data sets and analyze and reconcile output from the Company's core operating system, Facets, for inclusion in the Company's general ledger system, Workday.
  • Creates user friendly queries and processes for financial operations to obtain data necessary for analysis and reconciliation.
  • Performs statistical, cost, and financial variance analysis of data to evaluate financial performance and identify improvement opportunities.
  • Assists on business issues including financial and profitability analysis.Develops solutions to problems which require ingenuity, creativity, and innovation.
  • Collaborates with assigned areas of the organization and/or senior level analysts or leadership to analyze financial data.
Qualifications

Required

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, business administration, economics, statistics or related field
  • 1 year of relevant experience in finance, accounting, or related work.

Preferred

  • Master's degree in related field
  • Proficient in general ledger accounting
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Outlook, and Access
  • Strong ability to create and modify queries in SQL
  • Excellent problem solving and analytical skills
