Master Scheduler
Job Summary The Master Scheduler role is responsible managing the production schedule(s) to meet changing demand and inventory requirements and upholding strong communication with our internal sales, procurement, operations, and production departments providing necessary feedback regarding orders, delivery dates, etc. Primary Job Responsibilities * Creation of sequence of planning process and overall event calendar based on customer satisfaction, shop floor execution and system optimization * Oversee and manage the data integrity of SAP ERP sales order and production orders using Smartsheet production schedules to meet changing demand and inventory requirements. * Lead the Production Planning team members to improve efficiency, productivity, and accuracy of the planning parameters and customer satisfaction. * Liaison and coordinated with Project Managers, revenue analyst, and capacity planning for accurate shipping completion on time. * Coordinate with Production Management to monitor production capacity constraints and alert necessary team members to potential issues. * Oversee and manage accurately prepared production paperwork in accordance with ISO- 9001 standards. * Collaborate directly with production, quality, and manufacturing engineering to continuously improve scheduling and planning processes. * Facilitate and lead regular production and scheduling meetings by preparing weekly backlog, sales forecast, sales orders, ship completion and past due reports. * Collaborate with the Quality, Environmental, Health & Safety committee to maintain and ensure compliance with operational safety and regulatory quality standards. * Coordinating and adjusting material stock needs with procurement and logistics/warehouse department. * Ensure that all relevant staff members are communicated with and receive the production schedule and any necessary updates * Embrace and support the 5 Core Values of Excellence, Talent, Customer Focus, Innovation, and Integrity Job Requirements * Bachelor's degree in supply chain or business management or a related field * 3-5 years of prior scheduling, production control and coordination experience, preferably in high mix / low volume manufacturing environments. * Excellent S&O planning and time management skills * Highly proficient at Microsoft Excel, SAP and Smartsheet * Excellent interpersonal skills and communication, both verbal and written * Must be able to simultaneously manage several objectives and assign priorities * Work effectively under pressure to meet deadlines |
