Pediatric Audiology Job Responsibilities:
- Completes full diagnostic hearing assessments using the appropriate testing method and equipment for the patient type, diagnosis, and reason for referral.
- Formulates and/or implements a treatment plan to address deficits and patient/family areas of concern.
- Communicates effectively with patients, family, medical staff, care team members, students, supervisors and outside contacts.
- Demonstrates advanced communication skills necessary for effective problem-solving, and conflict resolution and facilitates group interactions to achieve desired outcomes as evidenced by team feedback and observation.
- Demonstrates advanced clinical expertise in patient evaluation treatment and documentation.
- Functions with the knowledge and skill of an advanced clinician who is sought out by others for advice and guidance.
Pediatric Audiology Additional Requirements:
Certification - Certificate of Clinical Competency in Audiology (CCC-A) Licensure - None Required Experience - 5 years Education - Doctoral degree in Audiology (AuD) or prior to January 1, 2008 a Master's in Audiology from an accredited institution
