Description & Requirements
Join our dynamic team as a Data Manager within the National Office {A&A Professional Standards Group or Assurance Methodology and Innovation}, where your expertise in data requests and quality management will drive impactful results. You'll collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure data accuracy, automate processes, and provide insightful analysis. If you are passionate about leveraging your skills to contribute to high-quality standards and innovative solutions, we want to hear from you!
How You Will Contribute:
  • Work within the A&A PSG, AMI Team, and FTS with special responsibility for data requests, including:
    • PCAOB inspection
    • PCAOB reporting (Form 2, NAF, proposed standard on firm and engagement metrics)
    • Peer Review
    • Internal inspection
    • Quality Report
    • Quality Management
    • Special projects and ad hoc requests
  • Design and operate controls to ensure the completeness and accuracy of data before usage
  • Identify opportunities to automate current manual processes
  • Perform exploratory data analysis to identify trends, patterns, and anomalies
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into data-driven solutions
  • Communicate findings and insights through data visualizations and reports
This role will require a mix of:
  • Your existing skills and knowledge based on past experience
  • New skills and knowledge developed to meet the needs of the position
  • Working with various firm professionals and SMEs
We are looking for people who have Forward Vision and:
  • Skills in data queries and analysis
  • Project management experience
  • Strong personal time management and the ability to work independently
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
Minimum Qualifications:
  • CPA license
  • 5 years or more public accounting auditing experience
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Familiarity with PCAOB audits, standards, and inspection processes (preferred but not required)
  • Experience with Star, Workday, and/or Amelio
  • Proficiency in data visualization tools such as Tableau or Power BI
