Project Cost Clerk

Growing global manufacturer is looking for a Project Cost Clerk to support their capital projects in Lafayette, IN. This position is responsible for managing payments and tracking costs. You would be handling and processing requisitions, tracking bills of lading and shipping records to ensure they match, and managing payments within SAP.

They are a collaborative, family-oriented and structured place to work that cares about their employees and mistakes are considered an opportunity. The team is very innovative and the work is fulfilling. Their leadership is knowledgeable, engaged and supportive. This position does require to be onsite and would be during 1st shift hours(M-F 40 hours/week). This is a long term temporary assignment(1 1/2+ years) with potential for extension and potential conversion in the future.

Requirements:



  • Experience with tracking costs within a capital project environment
  • Familiarity with WBS(Work Breakdown Structure) and/or related financial tracking
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Strong problem solving and ability to adapt to changing project needs
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
