At the direction of the Patient Access Manager, this role will provide day to day support for employee staffing and supervisory duties for Appointment Scheduler, Switchboard Operations, Navigator and HIS staff, including interviewing, hiring, and onboarding of new employees; timecard administration, conduct performance reviews; engagement activities (individual and team), coach and address performance issues; address complains and resolution of issues; and ensure the timely completion of required paperwork, records, documents, etc.

This is a full-time role based at our Corporate Office located in Woodbury, MN. Monday - Friday Schedule during typical business hours.

In collaboration with the Patient Access Manager, develop and adjust staff scheduling to ensure adequate coverage. If staffing needs dictate, may serve as back-up, performing duties in Appointment Scheduling, Switchboard Operations, Navigator or HIS roles.



  • Assist with orientation and training of new and existing employees in the workflows/processes and expectations required to meet practice standards specific to quality, quantity and compliance.
  • Work collaboratively with other leaders and departments to resolve issues, create streamlined processes and identify opportunity for improvement.
  • Assess daily queue status and develop daily workflow strategy for the team. Prioritize, schedule and delegate work assignments, and supervise the staff to ensure the highest level of services are delivered.
  • In collaboration with and at the direction of leadership, manage and implement departmental budgets.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

A minimum of four years of experience in Health Information Services setting is required. A minimum of two years in a role training and leading staff is preferred. (required)
