Mental Health Director

NaphCare is hiring an experienced Mental Health Director (LCSW, LMHC, & LMFT) to lead our Mental Health team at the Pasco County Detention Center located in Land O'Lakes, FL.

Position Description:

Masters prepared candidate with active, unrestricted mental health professional licensure (LCSW, LMHC & LMFT) in FL
• Coordinate, lead and participate in educational and training activities related to mental health care for patients
• Evaluate patients in a variety of settings
• Perform and document mental health evaluations
• Facilitate patient treatment to include admission and discharge from the mental health unit, housing change requests, seclusion, suicide precautions, close observation, and observation level changes
• DSM-V
• Coach and collaborate with site mental health clinical staff
• Ensure all mental health clinicians are educated
• Work cooperatively with all psychiatric providers
• Assist with recruiting efforts for mental health staff
