Warranty Claims Specialist

Now is your chance as Hearth & Home Technologies is hiringa Warranty Claims Specialist that will be working onsite in our Lake City, MN location. This position has core hours Monday through Friday 8:00 am to 4:30 pm with potential to work remote on Fridays after on-boarding is complete.

Role & Responsibilities

• Answer inbound phone calls, emails and chat messages from customers in the value chain, including the HHT sales team and trade channel partners.
• Resolve escalated calls and manage cases from other Claim Specialists or Tech Specialists towards timely and appropriate resolutions.
• Receive, audit, and approve high volumes of warranty and freight damage claims to meet customer requirements within warranty guidelines.
• Provide service to trade channel customer related to warranty claims.
• Administer RMA entry and receipt for claimed products.
• Assist other Claims Specialist or Tech Specialist warranty questions.

PositionRequirements

• Minimum of 3 years claims processing experience and 1-2 years technical service experience, or a 2-year degree in related field.
• Strong computer skills, including familiarity with Windows and Microsoft Office and accurate data entry skills.
• Salesforce experience preferred.
• Conflict management and decision-making skills while handling stress with a positive attitude.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Understand and maintain confidential information.
• Handle continuous improvement driven change, including user-acceptance testing of desktop application changes.
• Ability to multi-task effectively and timely.
