SUMMARY The Maintenance Planner is accountable for planning maintenance activities for multiple facilities. The successful teammate will process and schedule all work orders, while improving maintenance demands, order structure, size, capital, and the scheduling of tasks. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Ensure immediate maintenance intervention to solve any maintenance issues in the relevant field and follow up actions necessary.
- Thorough scheduling and administration of all planned maintenance activities assigned. (PM's)
- Develop and manage Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) software for Fletcher and Reno facility.
- Communicate, coordinate, and cooperate with operations, planners and engineering to maximize efficient productivity.
- Ensure adherence to safety rules and standards and maintain good housekeeping.
- Serve as the Maintenance Master System Administrator
- Document all work performed and close out all activities upon completion.
- Organize and store financial records for maintenance department.
- Responsible for all purchase and PO requests from maintenance and operations.
- Follow up with work orders daily.
- Ensure planning and scheduling practices uphold facility's reliability.
- Work directly with vendors, contractors, maintenance and purchasing to assist with planning and prioritizing maintenance work.
- Analyze accurate data and information from records to prepare reports, statistics, etc..., in support of continuous improvement.
- The teammate will also perform other duties, as assigned.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
- GED or technical degree
- Capable of following written instructions and procedures
- Basic knowledge and understanding of OSHA regulations.
- Basic knowledge and understanding in Office Products (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
- clear communication skills, a sound knowledge of maintenance and workflow processes, and strong technical skills.
- SAP Basic knowledge
- Knowledge of INFOR - EAM system software for maintenance PM it's a must.
- Must have experience in HEXAGON - EAM software.
- Availability to work on weekend when needed.
- Clear communication is essential to be able to communicate with co-workers.
- Must be self-starter and be able to accomplish tasks in a timely manner.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- 6 to 12 months of relevant experience preferred.
- Willingness to travel domestic 20 %
- Bachelor's degree is a plus.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
- Must be able to routinely lift packages 35 lbs. or less on a consistent basis
- Must be able to team lift any package greater than 35 lbs. but less than 71 lbs.
- Must be able to handle repetitive movements like pushing, pulling, bending down and lifting of packages/totes/materials.
- Must be able to manually move packages from one place to another. Whether it be from equipment to conveyor, from pack table to pallet, or from one side of the business to another.
- Must be able to spend long periods of time on your feet (8-10 hours)
