Pharmacy Business Coordinator

Job Summary:
In addition to serving all roles and responsibilities of a Pharmacy Technician, will perform necessary monitoring, reporting, auditing, analysis, and communications to assure optimal inventory management, medication billing, 340B program operations, and other day to day business and compliance needs of the pharmacy department. Will oversee purchasing and reimbursement of medications throughout the organization, working closely with UVM Health Network counterparts to optimize these processes operationally as well as fiscally. Will work collaboratively with the pharmacy team, 340B personnel, and others throughout the organization. Will monitor and assure regulatory compliance in the above areas while following, and updating as needed, organizational policies and procedures.

Education:
CPhT required, 340B University or equivalent required upon hire, Bachelor's degree or higher preferred

Experience:
Three years pharmacy operations experience, at least one in a health system setting. Demonstrated ability to coordinate and facilitate work teams to achieve specific results. Strong working knowledge of HRSA's 340B program. Working knowledge of EPIC and health system drug billing strongly desirable.
