Duration: 6 Month Contract-to-hire Job Title: OSP Telecommunications Technician - Los Lunas, NM Worksite Address: Los Lunas, New Mexico, United States, 87031 Workplace Type: On-site Schedule: Monday-Friday, 6:00 am to 4:00 pm (Fridays are typically shorter). Overtime is common, and occasional Saturday work is required. Expected Start Date: 12/2/24 Drug Test Required: Yes Pay: $20-$27/hr DOE Job Duties: * Pulling cable, pulling innerduct, dressing cables, labeling, fiber cleaning, etc., to industry and customer standards. * Carry and load materials to be used on the job. * Maintain professional appearance. * Work both outside and inside during summer and winter months. * Perform all other position-related duties as assigned or requested. * Complete safety training as required by the position. * Wash and clean vehicles and equipment. * File and maintain paperwork as needed. * Complete remedial online safety training. Enterprise Required Skills: * Install * Cable * Hardware * Cat6 * Fiber Optic Cable Top Skills Details: * Outside Plant installation * Fiber and Telecom installation knowledge and experience (Fiber, Cat5, Cat6) * Strong drive to work in construction/structured cable environments Additional Skills & Qualifications: * High school diploma or equivalent. * Good communication skills. * Strong problem-solving ability. * Confined space experience or training. * Ability to work well with others and maintain a positive attitude. * Valid driver's license. * Must pass pre-employment and random background, drug, and MVR screenings.
