The Human Resources Specialist role plays a crucial part in our exceptional HR team. This position offers an outstanding opportunity for individuals seeking career growth in HR. Responsibilities

  • Ability to positively and professionally represent Human Resources while interacting cross functionally with all employees. (Employee life cycle)
  • Ability to effectively communicate confidentially
  • Ability to work in multiple HR systems with high accuracy and being detail oriented.
  • Organizational skills while exhibiting general HR knowledge.
  • Fosters positive attitude toward organizational objectives and HR goals while supporting DataBank Cultural Cornerstones and Leadership Behaviors
  • Monitors and proactively responds professionally and timely to incoming emails to HR@DataBank.com and Slack.
  • Creates and maintains employee files electronically
  • Partners with Payroll team on any payroll related items
  • Ensure Compliance with Labor Laws Posters

Systems:

  • NetSuite: Creates very detailed new hire profile in payroll system. Makes updates to employee's profiles.
  • TalentReef: Liase with Talent Acquisition to process new hires onboarding; monitor document completion, generate employee file once documents are completed, and submit I-9 verification via E-Verified.
  • VerifiedFirst/Accurate: Conducts and reviews background checks for new hires (coordinates drug screens, as needed) for new employees and employees over 5+ years to comply with FedRamp standards
  • Epicor: Review new hire access ticket in system for accuracy and to approve
  • Off-boarding: Completes termination form.Conducts exit interviews & off-boarding checklist while identifying trends with possible solutions
  • Lattice: Experience with Lattice (performance, 1:1s, talent reviews, goals, compensation) a plus.
  • Reward Gateway/Vault: update employee list weekly or more as needed
  • Employment verifications: Completes employment verifications from external vendors, timely and accurately following internal process.
  • Safety: Point of contact for all worker's compensation and responsible for maintaining annual OSHA logs
  • Contractors: Manages on/off boarding of Contractors by working cross functionally with multiple departments.
  • Federal Reporting: EEOC annual reports plus others as needed.
  • Special projects as needed.

Qualifications

  • Bachelors' degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Associates degree

OR

  • 1+ years of professional experience in Human Resources in Company 500+ employees
  • Mid-high level Excel skills, Microsoft Office
