Job Summary The Director Business Operations is responsible and accountable for working collaboratively as a strategic business partner with division executive and key members of the division leadership. The incumbent as an Executive Leader is responsible for managing Operations and providing administrative, organization and financial leadership for Clinical Operations. Job Responsibilities Implement, manage and evaluate operation processes and procedures in accordance with the standards established by the Chief Clinical Office Coach, mentor, and counsel mid-level clinical managers/supervisors/leads to meet expected financial goals and performance levels. Establishes effective means of intra and inter departmental/division communications. Drives rapid, sustainable improvements in care quality with an emphasis on increased access, improved management of cost, and decreased care variation. Expert in clinical operations excellence. Deployed to discrete projects aimed at transforming clinical practices to improve quality and reduce costs. Conducts financial and quantitative analysis and monitor existing or proposed processes, programs and services against internal and external benchmarks and develops operational efficiencies and cost reduction projects. Serves as a central point of contact for projects assigned and is responsible for prioritization and implementation of performance improvement activities, project management, facilitation of clinician engagement, internal and external communication, education, data submission, and reporting. Initiates, coordinates, and executes operations and process improvements across the Enterprise through collaboration. Plans, manages, coordinates, and monitors activities and operations related to operations/process improvement program. Collaborates with the key members of leadership on operating and capital budget management, forecasting, financial performance reporting and expense control. Supports the team in managing all finance efforts to meet the cost and productivity targets. Ensures operational processes stay within agreed budgets and timelines. Creates an environment of high performance expectations, exhibits qualities of an effective executive leader and serves as a leader/role model via professional development. Develops and maintains standardized workflow processes to minimize variation, improve quality, reduce waste and bring uniformity and consistency to business operations. Assists in developing and executing both short-term and long-term system strategic goals. Develops strategies and implementation plans to improve and standardize all aspects of business operations. Provides analytical support to internal management team including development of internal data management, reporting, tracking and trending capabilities. Provides executive leadership for continuous performance improvement and staff development Education Required: Bachelor's Degree in Business, Finance, Health Care Administration, or related field. Preferred: Master's Degree in Business, Finance, Health Care Administration, or related field. Experience Required: Eight (8) or more year's job related experience.
