Located in the Office of Strategic Initiatives & Analytics, the Junior Business Intelligence Analyst is both an advanced higher education data analyst and report author. The Analyst will be responsible for pulling, cleaning, and formatting large amounts of data from multiple sources for both regularly recurring and ad-hoc analyses. Using academic, financial, and socio-economic data, this position must demonstrate best practices in conducting studies to aid in institution-wide understanding and data informed decision-making. Responsibilities Data collection and cleaning (20 - 30%)
Report writing, data analysis, and predictive modeling (40 - 60%)
Other duties as assigned (10 - 20%)
This position works within a team that responds to requests from many university stakeholders. For that reason, the demands of the position and areas of focus will be fluid. Over the course of a year, these percentages are anticipated, but cannot be guaranteed. Required Qualifications
