OPPORTUNITY This is a great opportunity for a mission-driven individual who has demonstrated program management expertise in the international development space. Specifically, you would have the chance to expand your extensive experience managing United States Government (USG)-funded initiatives and providing quality assurance for products and services.
The Senior Manager, Program Operations will provide leadership, operational oversight, and program management direction for the successful implementation of USAID-funded programs and domestic/non-USAID-based programs. This position ensures that all program activities align with EI's goals and are executed efficiently within the defined budget, schedule, and EI quality standards, while ensuring compliance with USAID regulations, policies, and procedures. The position will work closely with project teams, internal corporate teams, and partners to collaboratively facilitate groups to address challenges using a solution-oriented approach. The position leads EI's Program Management Unit (PMU) Service Line in line with the PMU vision to increase project effectiveness by bringing together company knowledge and resources, and disseminating company best practices, policies, tools, and processes. The position efficiently draws on the expertise and engages EI's Contracts, HR, and Finance teams to address issues related to implementation of projects, efficiently teeing up issues and identifying and implementing solutions when necessary. In addition to program management-related duties, the position manages a small team of operations staff and oversees company operations such as office management, leases, vendors, and equipment. BASE STATION This opportunity is a full-time position based on a hybrid schedule in Washington, D.C. and requires working in the office approximately two days per week.
