MU Family and Community Medicine (FCM)

Job Description

MU Family and Community Medicine (FCM) seeks an experienced primary care researcher with a strong background in family medicine, public health, or a related field, with a deep commitment to advancing primary care through both applied and translational research.

The department's ten community-based family medicine clinics staffed by our faculty and residents, with five in surrounding rural areas, form a rich laboratory for implementation science. Furthermore, the Missouri Practice-based Innovations Network (MO-PIN), a practice-based research network with access to over fifty primary care clinics, is housed in and led by FCM researchers. FCM has a supportive cadre of researchers and department funded research infrastructure that includes a librarian, a data analyst, and a grants management team.
Committed to the mission of the University of Missouri, FCM researchers seek to bridge the gap between academic research and real-world impact, enhancing the health and well-being of families and communities across the state and beyond.
