Description:

The Talent Acquisition Coordinator collaborates with UI Health's Human Resources Department to design, execute, and assess strategies related to pre-onboarding and onboarding for Civil Service, Graduate Hourly, and Academic Professional employee groups. This role partners with the Assistant Director of Recruitment & Retention, as well as HR Business Partners, to facilitate the hiring process for both new and current staff. The TA Coordinator also supports the gathering and analysis of HR data, contributing to the creation of procedural solutions to enhance data accuracy and ensure successful outcomes.

Duties & Responsibilities:
  • Responsible for designing, evaluating, and implementing a pre-onboarding process for an exceptional candidate experience
  • Communicates and collaborates with the HRBPS, Hiring Managers, & Employee Engagement to effectively transition the candidate from job offer acceptance, to pre-onboarding, to the onboarding process.
  • Conducts pre-employment hiring process for new recruits (e.g., scheduling clearances, pre-employment assessments, registers new hire in NEO, completes ID authorization form, I9's or other necessary hiring paperwork etc.)
  • Initiate, completes and submits transactions such as the New Hire Transaction and the Internal hiring transactions.
  • Organizes and updates candidates' data in the ATS (Applicant Tracking System) and hiring folders. Such as marking new hires as hired, sending notifications to remaining candidates not selected
  • Conducts surveys for evaluating candidate experience and analyze feedback
  • Assists and participates in employment events, including open houses and job fairs.
  • Delivers excellent customer service to internal and external customers in line with the organization's mission, culture, and values.
  • Preparing reports on new hire metrics (e.g., source-of-hire, time-to-hire, time-to-fill etc.)
  • Models' appropriate customer and partner interaction.
  • Maintains confidentiality of sensitive information.
  • Data Entry of employee certifications and employment, such IDPH and PPAcert.
  • Perform other related duties and participate in special projects as assigned.


Minimum Qualifications Required:

1. High school diploma or equivalent.

2. Any one or any combination totaling three (3) years (36 months) from the following categories:

A. course work in human resource administration, business administration or a closely related field, as measured by the following conversion table or its proportional equivalent:
  • 30 semester hours equals one (1) year (12 months)
  • Associate's Degree (60 semester hours) equals eighteen months (18 months)
  • 90 semester hours equals two (2) years (24 months)
  • Bachelor's Degree (120 semester hours) equals three (3) years (36 months)

B. progressively more responsible work experience maintaining, monitoring, and/or processing human resource records and reports.
