Major Responsibilities:

  • Oversees the overall success of the Actionable Findings program. Works collaboratively with organizational stakeholders and department leadership (Radiology, Emergency Department, Quality, Risk Management) and facilitates Actionable Finding meetings with above departments.
  • Creates and publishes work schedule for Actionable Findings staff; manages time off requests and ensures work time is documented correctly.
  • Prepares metrics for Actionable Findings Leadership to meet requests for data.
  • Monitors work effort of Actionable Findings staff, monitors backlog and metrics, escalates any issues with productivity to leadership.
  • Communicates changes in workflow process to Actionable Findings staff; maintains documentation of workflow processes and maintains shared resources.
  • Participates in the annual employee review process.
  • Assists with ongoing education for Actionable Findings staff.

Position Qualifications:

License/Certification/Education:

Required:

  • Master's degree in public health, health care administration, business administration, nursing, or related field.

Preferred:

  • Lean Green or Black Belt Certification.
  • Certified Professional in Healthcare Quality.

Experience/Skills:

Required:

  • Minimum of 5 years of clinical or healthcare experience.
  • Requires a strong knowledge of clinical processes and operations in a large healthcare system.
  • Demonstrated leadership and project management skills.
  • Excellent teaching skills, consultation skills and customer service skills.
  • Excellent critical thinking skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent verbal and written communications skills.
  • Computer literate with knowledge of Excel, maintenance of spreadsheets.
