Responsibilities:
* Develop, write, and maintain high-quality technical documentation, including user guides, API documentation, release notes, and FAQs. * Collaborate with engineering, product management, and UX design teams to understand and document new features, product updates, and technical workflows. * Manage comprehensive style guides and content templates to ensure consistency across all technical documents. * Review and edit content produced by other team members and provide constructive feedback. * Analyze product requirements and design specifications to develop appropriate documentation strategies. * Conduct interviews and obtain technical inputs from subject matter experts (SMEs) to gain a deep understanding of complex technical details. * Maintain and organize documentation repositories, ensuring all materials are current, relevant, and accessible to stakeholders. * Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends and best practices in technical communication to continuously improve documentation quality. Requirements: * Bachelor's degree in English, Technical Communication, Computer Science, or a related field. * 5+ years of experience in technical writing or content development for complex technical products. * Strong technical aptitude and ability to understand software development, APIs, and related technologies. * Proven experience creating end-user documentation, developer guides, and release notes for software products. * Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with a focus on clarity, accuracy, and conciseness. * Proficiency in using documentation tools and platforms such as Confluence, GitHub, Markdown, or similar. * Experience with content management systems (CMS) and version control tools like Git. * Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, agile environment, while managing multiple tasks and deadlines. * Detail-oriented, with strong analytical and research skills. Preferred Qualifications: * Experience with structured writing methodologies (e.g., DITA) or working in an Agile development environment. * Background in software development, engineering, or other technical fields. * Familiarity with UX writing principles and a user-centric approach to content creation. * Experience creating multimedia content (e.g., video tutorials, infographics) is a plus. |
