Job Description:

• Oversees the daily operations of the laboratory, ensuring accurate and timely processing of tests and samples.
• This role involves managing laboratory staff, maintaining equipment, and ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.
• The coordinator liaises with medical staff to support patient diagnosis and treatment, manages inventory, and implements quality control procedures.
• Strong organizational and communication skills are essential to maintain workflow efficiency and uphold high standards of laboratory practice.

Requirements:

• Bachelor of Science Degree in Medical Laboratory Science or a related science field is required
• Certified in clinical laboratory science by recognized certifying agencies.
• Must have at least 1 year experience as a Medical Laboratory Scientist in the designated discipline, and be qualified under CLIA regulations to function as a General or Technical Supervisor.
• General supervisory experience is preferred.
• Membership in a professional organization is highly desirable but not mandatory
