Gordon Food Service is hiring a Supplier Portal Administrator. Leads the supplier portal end user support in coordination with supplier portal technical lead(s); which includes managing authenticated and/or non-authenticated user access, creating and maintaining user training, delivering customer service, publishing content, owning chatbot content and functionality, and providing continual support to team members. Develops and evolves data analytics to support the supplier portal technical lead(s) in feature and functionality prioritization and road mapping. Creates and maintains tools to track feature adoption, portal engagement, system performance, and user needs and feedback. Assists and drives excellence in broader procurement objectives and initiatives through strategic thinking, process improvements, and data analysis

Responsibilities:

  • Manages the end to end user lifecycle including: provisioning access, overseeing permissions, providing user support, and offboarding users.

  • Ensures product availability to end users by monitoring product health, system performance, and strategically planning any maintenance windows.

  • Owns system security and compliance, adhering to internal policies protecting user and organizational data, auditing activity in order to detect suspicious activity and identify areas of improvement, and developing plans to handle any security breache

  • Develops and communicates operational metrics including performance analysis, data analytics, and key reporting

  • Works collaboratively with internal departments and roles to meet corporate objectives including, but not limited to: MMSC, GTS, Supply Chain, Finance, and Sales.

  • Provides problem-solving, develops system recommendations, and leverages technology to advance productivity.

  • Leverages technology and other best practices to ensure support scalability as the number of users and solution features grow.

  • Coordinates communication of systems issues and change management related to the supplier portal.

  • Adheres to the mission and cornerstone values and applicable practices of the organization.

  • Ensures data accuracy and efficiency standards are aligned with business objectives and systems evolution.

  • Supports continuous application enhancements, implements business processes or communications to grow the use of the application

  • Performs reporting to leadership, and manages stakeholder satisfaction through excellent project management/leadership skills and articulate communication abilities.

  • Collaborates with the product development team to create a strong end-product.

  • Communicate effectively with team members to achieve project goals.

  • Lead and train team members in collaboration with the supplier portal.

  • Performs other duties as assigned.

  • Demonstrates the ability to comprehend and improve business processes. Knowledge of the multiple steps and points of interaction in the CMR process and find ways to improve them.

  • Must have excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills, and good organizational and problem solving skills.

  • Must have the ability to multitask, prioritize and be able to work independently and within a team environment.

  • Develops solutions to a variety of problems of large scope and complexity. Refers to policies and practices for guidance

Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree required

  • One to three years previous experience: Help Desk, Technology, Supply Chain, Procurement, Marketing, or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
