Our Hospital Assistant III assists MRI technologists with
room preparation, patient transport and workflow management while ensuring the
availability of necessary supplies for cases and procedures. Responsibilities
include but are not limited to safely moving patients, preparing Power
Injectors and supporting interventional procedures. You are expected to keep a
clean and stocked work environment, manage the Radiology Information System
(RIS) and monitor CO2, Argon and Helium levels for MRI procedures. Additional
duties include aiding the Interventional Radiology team and setting up sterile
trays for MR-guided interventions.

Salary Range: $28.06 - $37.02 Hourly

• BLS
  certificate from American Heart Association or American Red Cross -
  required
• High
  School Diploma - required
• At
  least 2 years hospital experience - strongly preferred
• Experience
  in the medical field, computer hospital information systems - preferred
• Ability
  to respond efficiently to expressed needs of referring services,
  physicians and patients
• Understands
  the requirement of EMTALA (Emergency Medical Treatment and Active Labor
  Act)
• Excellent
  interpersonal skills to communicate effectively and diplomatically with
  patients, visitors, hospital staff, physicians, scientists and other
  outside departments both in person and over the telephone
