Final Inspection Lead

Job Purpose:

Performs all Final Inspection-Rework functions required in a PCB Manufacturing environment. This position will require to be the first point of contact for production and manufacturing when the department Supervisor is absent.

Nature of Duties:



  • Work with Inspection and Quality supervisors in dealing with priorities, final inspection, and electrical test support functions
  • Effectively communicate with various departments to ensure alignment and facilitate seamless workflow
  • Direct final inspection activities for department job priority and customer shipment quality deliverables
  • Point of contact between quality technicians and source inspectors for presenting parts into source
  • Generate and maintain production lists as directed by the Production Manager
  • Provide support to both department Supervisor and Manager as needed
  • Demonstrate leadership abilities to effectively guide Final Inspection team and work collaboratively within the Final Inspection department
  • Possess a thorough understanding of both department documentation and inspection procedures


Education and Experience:



  • Minimum of 6 years previous manufacturing experience
  • Ability to perform short removal, soldering and solder mask rework and touchup
  • Ability to use microscopes, calipers, micrometer, and gages
  • Inspection ofproduct for conformance to customer and industry specifications
  • This individual must be able to read customer blue prints, hole chart and tolerance requirements
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Exhibit strong computer skills
  • IP600 Certification required
  • Ability to build and maintain positive relationships with team members and other stakeholders to create a collaborative and productive work environment
  • Must be flexible to work overtime as business needs require

Salary Range(annual): $52000 - 57408
