Sourcing Specialist
At JLL, we are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented professional to join our team as a Sourcing Specialist. In this role, you will support our sourcing and procurement activities, contributing to the success of our company and providing valuable support to our clients. You will work closely with our sourcing team, suppliers, and internal stakeholders to ensure the smooth execution of sourcing projects and initiatives.

LOCATION: Candidate must live in Northern California. May require to be onsite on a variable schedule.

Client- 20%
Ensure 100% vendor, or any vendors' subs, compliance with client's safety and risk requirements in ISN. Daily/weekly interaction with client/client's safety representatives to acquire updates on client safety requirements, vendors' ISN grade changes, training requirements etc. and communicate to vendors to ensure compliance. Regular reporting and escalations to the client and JLL Sourcing Manager if any vendor falls out of compliance.

Account team and Vendors- 30%
Be the point of contact between client and the vendors to communicate any feedback/correction requests Regular follow-ups with vendors (and their subs) to ensure they take all required employee trainings and submit any pending safety program in client's ISN system before expiration deadline. Work closely with the JLL Safety Manager that is responsible for the safety program oversight by JLL and will provide the following to help facilitate:
Communicate any feedback/correction requests on vendors' submitted safety programs.
Send weekly safety messages to vendors to implement a safety culture that's in alignment with JLL's and client's organizational goals.
Coordinate with JLL Safety Manager to ensure vendors complete client's Programmatic Safety Plan (PSP) and Project Specific Safety Plan (PSSP) in a timely manner
Have a sense of urgency and escalate any vendor issues proactively to JLL Sourcing Manager and/or JLL Safety Manager on safety program tasks for quick resolution. Assist sourcing team with account initiatives.

Data analysis and reporting- 50%
Collect vendor compliance data from multiple sources (client, JLL Safety Manager, vendor). Update and track regularly to ensure vendor compliance. Create and maintain data sets for all vendors, which includes but is not limited to:
Expiration and renewal dates of all ISN program requirements for each vendor.
Vendor employee roster for ISN training requirement.
Details of subs being utilized by JLL vendors for client projects.
Client training program updates.

Based on the data collected, follow-up with vendors proactively so that JLL vendors can avoid a grade drop in ISN due to non-compliance. Assist sourcing team with variable analysis and reporting.
Required Skills:
1-3 years of experience in sourcing, procurement, or related functions.
Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to effectively interact with internal and external stakeholders.
Proficient in using MS Office suite, especially Excel and PowerPoint.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail.
Ability to work independently and in a team environment, with a proactive and collaborative approach.
Demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and meet tight deadlines.
Knowledge of sourcing and procurement principles and practices.

Preferred Skills:
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
Professional certifications such as Certified Professional in Supply Management (CPSM) or Certified Supply Chain Professional (CSCP).
Familiarity with sourcing tools and software, such as ISN, e-Sourcing platforms or procurement systems.
Experience in the commercial real estate industry or related fields.
Strong negotiation and contract management skills.
Ability to analyze and interpret data to drive insights and strategies.
