Quality Control Manager - GSA Facilities - Tucson, AZ (Contingent)

Summary:

The Contract (Project) Manager for Operations and Maintenance oversees GSA facilities in the Tucson, Arizona area. This position is responsible for overseeing and managing all aspects of building facilities and plays a crucial role in ensuring that our facilities are well-maintained, safe, and efficient, providing a conducive environment for government agencies to operate effectively.


Summary:

The Quality Control / Safety Manager is responsible for:


  • Reporting Directly to Corporate QC Safety Director.
  • Supervising and monitoring QC staff and QC Program processes and activities.
  • Overseeing the implementation of a quality control system (QCS)
  • Continually reviewing and revising (annually or as needed) the QCS to meet contract objectives and to maintain the effectiveness of the plan.
  • Reviewing and approving Quality Control Plans.
  • Advising on Quality, certification and acceptance criteria for material purchase, specialist packages and services.
  • Following up on all open Corrective Action Reports and ensuring they are properly closed out.



Primary Responsibilities:

  • Quality of Work
  • Drafting and Monitoring the Quality Control Plan
  • Providing the Government with compliant supplies and services and working with the Government regarding its administration of its Quality Assurance Surveillance Plan
  • Supervising quality control technicians who perform Quality Control inspections


Minimum Qualifications:

  • Five (5) years of experience in leadership positions including management of quality control inspectors


Desired Qualifications:

  • Six Sigma Green Belt Certification or ISO 9001 Certification
