Staffmark has a full-time opportunity in Calera, AL for a skilled Diesel Mechanic. If you have hands-on mechanical experience and are looking for a role where you can grow with a company, this is the opportunity for you!

Schedule: Monday - Friday, 6:00 AM - Finish

Pay: $30 - $35 per hour

Responsibilities & Requirements:



  • At least 3+ years of hands-on Diesel/Mechanical or Shop Tech experience.
  • Strong mechanical knowledge with a solid understanding of diesel engines. Electrical and hydraulics experience is a plus.
  • Must be self-motivated and able to ask questions when needed. A focus on mechanical knowledge is valued over formal education.
  • Experience working with brands like CAT, Kubota, Cummins, and Perkins is preferred.
  • Must have a valid driver's license for potential road tech visits, which may come with promotion.
  • We are seeking someone who is eager to grow alongside the company and contribute to its continued success.
