Child Psychologist PEDS-ZSFG Part Time 82170BR Job Summary The child psychologist will perform psychological testing and neuro-psychological testing on children ages 0-18 who undergo evaluation through the developmental pediatrics program (MDAC) in the Children's Health Center at San Francisco General Hospital as part of a multi-disciplinary developmental assessment team. While children of all ages are evaluated, the primary focus will be on children ages 0-5 years. S/he may also provide didactic lectures to and supervision of psychological trainees. The incumbent will be required to provide teaching (1 lecture/quarter) to medical residents rotating through the MDAC clinic as a part of the Pediatric Residency rotation, and may be asked by other departments to provide similar lectures To see the salary range for this position (we recommend that you make a note of the job code and use that to look up): TCS Non-Academic Titles Search (ucop.edu) Please note: The compensation ranges listed online for roles not covered by a bargaining unit agreement are very wide, however a job offer will typically fall in the range of 80% - 120% of the established mid-point. An offer will take into consideration the experience of the final candidate AND the current salary level of individuals working at UCSF in a similar role. Required Qualifications * Ph.D. degree in clinical psychology and one year of post-doctoral experience in clinical psychology; or an equivalent combination of education and experience; and knowledges and abilities essential to the successful performance of duties assigned to the position.
