Primary Function of Organizational Unit
The School of Music, in the College of Fine Arts and Communication, has an enrollment of over 250 music majors and minors with over 60 faculty and staff. Now in its 25th Season, The Four Seasons Chamber Music Festival brings internationally renowned musicians to North Carolina and beyond for concerts, community engagement and interactive initiatives throughout each year.
Job Duties
The Four Seasons Chamber Music Festival is seeking an Artistic Director to oversee all administrative aspects of the festival and ensure its smooth operation. In this role, you will collaborate closely with the Managing Director and Operations Manager to implement festival initiatives, plan current and future operations, and enhance relationships within the community. You will maintain the vision and reputation of the festival while actively engaging in fundraising efforts to build and sustain relationships with donors. Additionally, you will ensure the quality and execution of the artistic program, coordinate with guest musicians, and oversee public relations, marketing, and publicity efforts to promote the festival's mission and values. Finally, you will be expected to perform for significant events throughout the year.
