Here is how the Midstream - Facility Engineering Intern role will impact our business: As a Midstream - Facility Engineering Intern, you will be responsible for supporting a team of Project Managers, Design Engineers, & Construction Managers analyze, estimate, plan, design, procure, & construct natural gas facility projects within EQT's operating area of Pennsylvania, West Virginia, & Ohio. The Intern responsibilities include but arenot limited to: Assist the Facility Development team through: Maintaining project budgets and schedules from project kickoff through project closeout Design & analysis of measurement, liquids handling, dehydration, & compression assets Equipment & Material Procurement Monitoring & controlling construction progress activities such as excavating, foundation placement, equipment setting, welding, coating, torquing, conduit installation, wire pulling, terminations, & testing. Shadowing experienced professionals in various roles, learning about the lifecycle of gas facility development and operations. Required Experience and Skills: Currently pursuing a degree in Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Petroleum Engineering, or a related technical field. Completion of coursework related to thermodynamics, fluid mechanics, or process engineering is preferred. Strong interest in energy and natural gas facilities. Basic understanding of mechanical systems, piping, and industrial equipment. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint); experience with CAD software is a plus. Strong communication and teamwork skills. Ability to work in outdoor and industrial construction environments. Selected incumbent will be placed into the position that best suits their abilities and experience level.
