Description Maine Medical Center Child & Adolescent Outpatient Psychiatry Maine Medical Center's Outpatient Child and Adolescent Psychiatry Clinic provides treatment and care to children and adolescents under age 21 who experience a variety of psychiatric challenges. These include mood, anxiety, behavior, psychotic, learning, and developmental disorders, substance abuse co-occurring with psychiatric illness, those who have experienced adverse or traumatic events, and those at risk for suicide. Responsibilities:
Required Minimum Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs) 1. Education:. Bachelor's Degree in Psychology or Social Services preferred. 2. License/Certifications: Current BLS Certification required or must obtain within 30 days of start date. CRMA preferred. 3. Experience: Two years of experience working with patients with mental illness required. Experience in a mental health facility preferred. 4. Additional Skills/Requirements Required: N/A 5.
