For a limited time MaineHealth is offering sign on bonuses for Licensed Practical Nurses:

  • 0-1years of experience eligible for $5,000 (full time)
  • 1-3years of experience eligible for $7,500 (full time)
  • 3+ years of experience eligible for $10,000 (full time)
Eligible candidates are hired (offer accepted) into a Full or Part time LPN position. Bonus amount prorated for Part time hires, per diem hires are ineligible.
Current MaineHealth member employees are ineligible; former MaineHealth Members are ineligible until greater than 6 months separation from employment.

    Weekend scheduling - Every 4thweekend rotation!

    Summary:
    Under direction of the Clinical Director and the RN Case Manager, the Licensed Practical Nurse - MHCAH role provides supportive and restorative care to resident patients and administers medications and treatments according to policies, procedures, and standards of the nursing practice.

    Required Minimum Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs)

    1. Education: Graduate of an accredited Licensed Practical Nursing program required.

    2. License/Certifications: Current applicable state(s) license as a Licensed Practical Nurse required. Current BLS certification required or must obtain within 30 days of start date. IV certification required. Valid driver's license with vehicle available for work covered by liability insurance as specified by agency policy required.

    3. Experience: One year of experience in an acute care hospital or skilled nursing facility preferred.
