Position: Social Media Graphic Designer

Department: Marketing

Reporting Relationship: Reports to the Senior Graphic Designer

Status: Full-Time (Exempt)

Position Summary

Are you a creative wizard who can transform pixels into touchdowns? Do you dream in Pantone colors and speak fluent Instagram? We're on the hunt for a social media Graphic Designer to join the Carolina Panthers squad and electrify our digital playbook! Imagine crafting graphics that roar louder than a packed stadium, making every Panthers fan feel like they're right on the field. We need someone who can turn stats into stories, touchdowns into trending topics, and victories into viral moments.

We are looking for an experienced teammate who wants to grow as a designer and create stunning work, one whose love and respect for the work outweighs the perks of working for a professional sports team... we love our team, but the work is why we are here. We are building an in-house creative agency for an NFL team, and we cover multiple disciplines while maintaining a creative and collaborative environment.

Primary Responsibilities



  • Create visually engaging graphics, including but not limited to, social media posts, banners, animations, and advertisements for various platforms such as Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, and TikTok.
  • Collaborate with the digital media team to develop and execute creative campaigns that align with the Carolina Panthers brand and objectives.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, social media platform updates, and emerging technologies to continuously improve the quality and effectiveness of our visual content.
  • Work closely with the content team to ensure timely delivery of graphics that support ongoing marketing and promotional efforts, including game days, events, and community initiatives.
  • Maintain a consistent aesthetic and brand identity across all social media channels.
  • Work within the brand standards of Tepper Sports & Entertainment subsidiaries to create layouts that reinforce brand style and voice across various visual touchpoints.
  • Generate clear ideas, concepts, and design of creative assets from beginning to end.
  • Partner internally to optimize creative campaign effectiveness, experimentation results, and collaborate to iterate and improve creative based on data and analytics.
  • Constants develop skills and explore new creative techniques.
  • Communicate creative ideas within a collaborative environment.
  • Other duties as assigned.



Minimum Qualifications



  • Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Visual Communication, or related field.
  • 3-5 years of professional experience in the Graphic Design field, within an agency or in a corporate environment.
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, After Effects, etc.) and other graphic design software.
  • Strong portfolio demonstrating creative skills and experience in designing for social media platforms.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines.
  • Experience developing campaign ads on multiple platforms (run-of-site ads, emails, etc.)
  • Extensive knowledge of design techniques and emerging technologies.
  • A knowledge of photography, composition and lighting is essential.
  • Consistently take initiative to complete tasks and projects with limited supervision.
  • Must be able to meet tight deadlines while managing multiple jobs in a fast-paced environment, effectively communicate with project managers regarding project statuses and deadlines.
  • Must possess a high level of emotional intelligence and self-awareness.
  • Must always maintain professional attitude and be receptive to project changes.
  • Must be able to work independently and as part of a cross functional team.
  • Openness to coaching and differentiating perspectives and operating within a team dynamic.
  • Adaptable to change in the work environment and manages competing demands.
  • Must be reliable, someone who can be counted on to show up and deliver, day in and day out.
  • Must be willing to work flexible hours including all game weekends, nights, weekends and holidays.
  • Must be thorough with attention to detail.



Preferred Qualifications



  • Previous experience working in a sports organization or with sports-related brands is a plus.
  • Passion for football and understanding of sports culture preferred.
  • Ability to develop motion graphics from scratch and / or existing files is a plus.

Physical Requirements



  • Perform physical activities such as setting up for an event.


  • Standing, sitting, and working at desk on a computer.
  • Walking throughout the stadium.
  • Lift at least 25 pounds.



Work Environment



  • Bank of America Stadium. This job operates in a professional office environment (mostly office environment, outside in a stadium facility at times which may include inclement weather conditions). Some travel may be required.
