Job Description

The Vue General Manager oversees VUE operations inclusive of VUE, Champions Club and VUE To Go. Ensure the overall quality of food, beverage, service and ambiance.



Responsibilities

    Make service your top priority ensuring 100% guest satisfaction holding staff accountable to the Steps of Service.
  • Ensure there is always appropriate leadership coverage.
  • Staff operation to optimize service and productivity.
  • Take the lead on the hiring, discipline and evaluation of staff performance and document all aspects of their employment.
  • Adhere to Training programs for both group and individuals to stress service, safety and product knowledge.
  • Maximize revenues through staff upsell trainings and promotions.
  • Maintain grooming and uniform guidelines as defined by company standards.
  • Maintain the ambiance of the operation ensuring lighting, music, cleanliness and sightlines are to standard maximizing the guest experience.
  • Work in tandem with the Chef de Cuisine and culinary leadership to maximize Food Quality.
  • Maximize the capabilities of the Reservation system.
  • Oversee maintenance of all equipment and cleanliness of the operation.
  • Perform all other administrative functions required and communicate information from management meetings.
  • Complete Payroll accurately and on time.
  • Responsible for P & L Statement.
  • Work in a safe manner at all times and follow all safety procedures as outlined in your Standards of Conduct and Loss Prevention Manual.
  • Ensure the speed of delivery and quality of products in VUE To Go.
  • Resolve all guest and staff issues to the best of your abilities.
  • In conjunction with your management team, perform 100% table touches ensuring guest satisfaction.
  • SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES Responsible for the oversight of entire VUE Operations staff and management.

Qualifications

  • Ability to prioritize work load.
  • Organization skills and ability to adapt quickly to any given situation.
  • Experience in a similar capacity with high volume, hotel, restaurant and union management experience.
  • San Diego County Food Handler's card and TIPS certification is required prior to the start of employment.
  • Must have open availability and be able to work weekends and holidays.

Annual Salary Range: $78k-85k

The pay scale provided is a range that Omni Hotels & Resorts reasonably expects to pay. Actual compensation offered may fluctuate based on a candidate's qualifications and/or experience
