Payroll Specialist- Part Time

Position Overview:

We have an immediate opening for an experienced Payroll Specialist. In this part time role (20-30 hours a week) , you will be responsible for processing multi-state payroll for over 1,000 employees, handling all data entry related to payroll, including employee changes. You will also assist with ad hoc reporting and perform some general administrative duties.

Key Responsibilities:

* Process multi-state payroll for 1,000+ employees accurately and timely.

* Manage all data entry associated with payroll, including employee changes and status updates.

* Generate and distribute ad hoc payroll reports as needed.

* Assist with general administrative tasks related to payroll processing.

* Investigate payroll issues thoroughly to ensure quick resolution.

Requirements:

* 1-3 years of experience processing payroll.

* Familiarity with payroll processing/HRIS programs.

* Intermediate-level MS Excel skills.

* Strong data entry skills with a focus on speed and accuracy.

* Ability to analyze and resolve payroll issues efficiently.

* Self-starter who can work independently with excellent problem-solving skills.

* Detail-oriented with a service-oriented attitude towards internal customers.
