Overview

Join our influential Digital Experience team in contributing to the success of Esri's corporate website. As a Web Content Strategist, you will be pivotal in optimizing customer journeys for Esri's priority audiences, driving higher conversion rates, and ensuring a compelling and consistent brand narrative on esri.com. Your excellent interpersonal skills and comfort interacting at all levels of the organization will be imperative to your success, as you will be working with stakeholders from across Esri, as well as SEO, web designers, CMS authors, project managers, and writers.

Responsibilities



  • Monitor and analyze content performance for priority audiences and customer journeys, leveraging specific, measurable metrics to make informed recommendations for optimization and improvements
  • Stay current on Esri's campaign and program plans, utilizing exposure to industry-leading web analytics tools to proactively map out how the web can best support strategic initiatives
  • Ensure key web pages adhere to brand, content, tagging, and taxonomy guidelines, contributing to a consistent and recognizable brand image
  • Drive consistency across similar page types, collaborating closely with SEO and Conversion Rate Optimization teams to understand trends and identify opportunities for improvement
  • Collaborate with the UX team to align efforts and keep abreast of usability research conducted by the UX Research team
  • Actively participate in kick-off meetings for web projects to set the right direction for page strategy, encouraging innovation and creativity in web content strategy
  • Represent web content strategy in milestone meetings for major projects, contributing a global perspective if applicable


Requirements



  • 8 years of experience with web usability, information architecture, and writing for the web and a Bachelor's degree
  • Proficiency with web analytics tools (such as Google Analytics, Adobe Analytics)
  • Ability to work collaboratively, gain consensus, and actively seek professional development opportunities
  • Strong listening and communication skills
  • Strong understanding of web best practices, including SEO and UX
  • Extremely organized with a keen eye for detail and a passion for complex projects with multiple stakeholders
  • Ability to multitask in a dynamic and fast-paced environment with a focus on adaptability and staying abreast of industry trends

A reasonable estimate of the base salary range is
$104,000 $166,400 USD
