Senior Product Manager- Global Operations COE

As Sr Product Manager - Global Operations COE, you play a critical leadership role in the COE's Digital Organization with overarching responsibilities of the Product Owner Teams. Within PPG's Operations team, the Center of Excellence (COE) is responsible for Business Reporting; Processes, Program, Policies, Analytics and all things Digital (Data Science, Advanced Technologies and Product Owner Teams).

You will build strong relationships and interact regularly with IT and Operations 7 (O7) Supply Chain, Procurement, Manufacturing, EHS, Quality, Logistics and Sustainability within the COE and operate on a global scope.

Responsibilities:

Product Strategy and Vision:
* Responsible to define and communicate for all Products in the PPG Operations ecosystem, the vision, strategy, and goals for O7 domains to Steering Committee and Stakeholders.
* Conduct market research and analyses to identify customer needs, industry trends /benchmarks, and competitive landscape within these areas
Product Roadmap and Planning:
* Develop, implement and maintain product roadmaps for O7 and align them with the overall business objectives and strategies
* Be the one voice of representation on the O7 steering committee that will prioritize efforts and development.
Cross-functional Collaboration:
* Identify synergies and facilitate effective communication/ collaboration between Steering Committee, stakeholders and the Product Owners across O7.
* Own (designing, planning, adherence of spending, forecasting ) the Budget for all Products in the Ecosystem (Budgets includes product cost but also resourcing (internal & external))
Agile Product Development:
* Oversight of the application of Agile methodologies, such as Scrum or Kanban, to drive the product development processes by Product Owners
* Ensure smooth operation of product performance within these areas, gather feedback, and make data-driven decisions to improve the products while also managing relationships with external tool and software vendors.

Requirements:
* Bachelor's degree in a relevant field; a Master's degree is a plus
* Proven experience of at least 4 yrs as a Product Owner or similar role, preferably in a senior or leadership position within the manufacturing industry
* Strong understanding of Agile methodologies and experience working in an Agile development environment
* Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to influence and inspire cross-functional teams.
* Solid analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a data-driven approach to decision-making
* Strong organizational and time/ Project /Portfolio management skills, with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple Projects simultaneously
* Experience in Product management tools and proficiency in Project management methodologies
* Ability to collaborate effectively with teams across different functional areas.
