The research in the Bielczyk-Maczynska lab (https://ebm-lab.org) focuses on (1) the identification of cell membrane receptors that regulate metabolism and (2) understanding their physiological function and role in disease pathology. We use a combination of cell culture and mouse models to conduct functional genetics screens and to identify the role of candidate receptors. Primary responsibilities include designing and executing experiments to test specific hypotheses, analyzing data, and lab maintenance. This position is temporary for two years. - Design and implementation of hypothesis-driven research projects. - Preparation of common reagents - Analysis and review of generated data. Qualifications
